This coming Sunday 12th June we are heading for the Saltee Islands off Co. Wexford. This trip is a must for anyone with an interest in bird watching or the outdoors in general. The Saltees are situated 4 miles off the coast so a little paddling experience is required before undertaking such a trip.
Meeting time is 10am in Kilmore Quay and we’ll return at around 5pm. After our lunch stop we can walk the Island to visit the Gannet colony which has to be seen to be believed and this also gives us an opportunity to stretch the legs before returning to Kilmore Quay.
